I am burdened with glorious purpose
I welcome you to Sympathy for the Devil, an online tribute and approved fanlisting for the character Loki of Asgard (also known as Loki Laufeyson) from Marvel's Thor. As of right now, the content here is based only on the movies Thor, Thor: The Dark World and The Avengers. I do plan on getting some Loki-centric comics in the future in order to expand the site. Until then, though, this site is strictly movie-based with the exception of some Norse mythology references. Loki is a character that has intrigued me in both mythology and in the Marvel universe. When I think I finally have him figured out, he goes and does something else that leaves me re-considering my own theories. I've very much enjoyed experiencing Loki's character and look forward to sharing my viewpoints with you through this website. To be honest, this is the first time I have ever truly enjoyed a character considered the "villain" to the point I would want to make a site to them. My take on Loki may be a bit optimistic at times because of this, but I do hope you get something out of my perspective. Thank you for visiting.
